4th September, 2002 - Version 2.01
- The AusWIN software now stores data on file to 0.01 of a cycle/sec for the counts from the tools. This increase in resolution was added to improve the resolution of some period measurement type tools that were being degraded in resolution due to the rounding of data to a single cycle/sec.
- Added a MIN scale value in the data EDIT form. Now user can select both MIN and MAX count values for plot
- Changed logic in accessing serial port whilst logging to wait not more that 200 msec for partial buffers of data, else assume DLS has timed out
- The user has the option to change units for temperature sensors to either Imperial or Metric units
- Calibrations now check units for sensor have not changed. This can happen with caliper and temperature sensors where user has option to change the tool sensor units

- Bug with winch scale factor being included twice on SETUP form fixed.
- Batch processing and single file processing of LAS files now rejects TIME based data files and also files which have zero data scans
- Displaying old ALOG files sometimes gave an error if number of data scans was an even multiple of 50

5th August, 2001 - Version 1.30 - FULL release
NOTE :
This was first full release of the software and due to changes in the header structure of the logging data files, early version release files can NOT be read by this and subsequent releases of the software.

15th July, 2001 - Version 1.25 - Second BETA
This was the first debugged full version release of the software. As well as minor bug fixes the major changes made are as below :
- AusWIN data file structure included in this HELP file
- Notepad information added to the header file
- Ability for the user to change sensor offsets on the user tool list. The actual Auslog distributed database still has the factory settings.

- Check that user has the correct Windows font size set and warn user if incorrect
- Added nag screen when user tries to EXIT program with logs displayed on screen
- Ability to minimise the AusWIN program to the Windows Start Bar. This can only be done via the File menu of the program so that it does interfere with normal data acquisition operations.
- Added a query screen at end of a logging run to assist the user in choosing which operation to perform next; relog hole, review log or change tool.
- Added a query screen when converting old ALOG files to the AusWIN format to allow resampling at a lower sampling interval if desired.
- A check dialog is now shown when no DLS is found when the user tries to commence a logging operation.
- Ability to change vertical scale during logging acquisition operation
- Time to completion of logging run now toggles with elapsed logging time during data acquisition operations
- Ability to log past the drillers hole depth has been added. This option is useful in cases where the exact hole depth is not known.
- Warn user if colour depth of display is 256 colours or less. Need 16 bit colour for correct screen display of text box backgrounds as well as colour logos etc on printouts.
1st June, 2001 - Beta Release 1.20
The first test release of the software to Beta users.
