Australian Logging Services & Auslog Pty Ltd - Over 25 years experience manufacturing, repair, and development of borehole geophysical instruments we have built a reputable name for ourselves. Having supplied equipment all both locally and all over the world, we are now offering a comprehensive logging service, providing solutions to your logging requirements.
The Logging Headquarters operates from Rocklea, Brisbane. A field office is established at a convenient location in central Queensland. In Brisbane the facilities consist of an administration center, fully equipped electrical and mechanical production and workshop facilities. We have 2 controlled test boreholes located in our factory grounds. These allow us the capability to conduct thorough testing of tools and equipment. We also have high temperature and high pressure testing capabilities.
THE TOOLS
With a wide variety of tools manufactured by Auslog we can service the needs of all industries. All logging vehicle will be fitted out with a full suite of tools, including the following tools: a full suite of tools, including the following tools:
1. Coal Combination Tool – This is a 3 Detector Density tool, Single Arm Caliper, Resistivity and High Sensitivity Natural Gamma.
All tools from the Auslog range (more than 50 combinations) are available for your specific requirement. For a complete list of tools please click here.
These other tools include - SIROLOG, Neutron, Induction, Magnetic Susceptibility, Borehole Video, 3 Component Magnetics / Deviation and lots more. On special request we can also provide Teleview and Gyro.
We can also offer a unique service for remote area and underground logging by shipping portable systems and flying in an operator saving mobilization costs.
THE LOGGING VEHICLES
The service will begin with 3 fully equipped 4x4 Logging Vehicles. Each vehicle has standard
Field operators are either experienced, qualified electrical engineers or geoscientists and are fully trained in the use of all tools and instrumentation. Their conceptual understanding of the physical properties being recorded during the logging process, assures the highest level of quality control. Each operator holds at minimum, a Generic Mining Induction (Metalliferous & Coal), a Senior First Aid Certificate and Radioactive Handlers Licence.
THE DATA PROCESSING
Initially in the field the data is acquired using windows based Auswin software. The field presentation is clear and concise. The field printout of any log can be achieved and the raw data can be supplied in log ascii format. Additional to the basics, various logs can be merged into one display (up to 8 parameters) with Auswin and printed either in the field or office. User input Lithology divisions are optional for display and printout. The log header information is also optional but contains a great deal of information. Quality assurance can be requested via printouts of calibration data and speed while logging. These are just some many advantages of Auswin.
The complete solution to your logging requirements is delivered with GEO-LIVE - Geophysical Logging, Interpretation, Visualisation and Enhancement. Quantec Geoscience undertakes full acquisition of data incorporating strict quality control then subsequently provides a suite of services ranging from log interpretation to 3D visualisation, modelling and integration with other data sets using GOCAD.
Value is added to the drill hole data through log analysis and 3D correlation of drill hole data. Log analysis includes predictive methods of interpretation with LOGTRANS - mineral identification, ore delineation, lithology mapping and cross-hole correlation.
THE BACKUP SUPPORT
We offer the BEST back up support, as we make all of our own equipment and always have a large inventory equipment and parts, if a problem cannot be resolved in the field we have the ability to quickly get the operator up and running. Mechanical and Electronic engineers at Auslog will maintain and service the logging vehicles and equipment.
