Auslog
'Australian tough to handle all conditions'
Overview
There is a large range of borehole instruments from which to select for various targets and purposes. The tool selection will vary depending upon the application for which the survey is being undertaken. Borehole tools must be selected to suit the borehole diameter and borehole conditions. The temperature and pressure in the borehole is usually dependent on depth.
Consideration must be given to the number of conductors available in the winch cable and the connection to the cablehead must be compatible or adaptors will be required.
Combinations of borehole tools must also be considered to allow for mechanical and electronic compatibility between the different borehole tools.
Many of the borehole tools can incorporate multiple sensors which allow several measurements to be carried out simultaneously. Logging time when using these multiplex tools is therefore considerably reduced.
All Auslog probes are designed for rugged use, with components carefully selected for optimum performance and low power consumption. Most probes are designed for slim-hole applications, and are manufactured to exacting standards.
Components are minimised within each probe to conserve space, power, reduce cost and greatly improve reliability. Auslog offers a comprehensive selection of borehole probes to meet your demanding needs. Auslog probes can be used individually or in combination with other probes. Using a completely open architecture approach, Auslog's logging systems do not restrict users from only being able to use probes from the original supplier of their system. Auslog will make every effort to provide the user with the information required to either interface a Auslog probe into their existing logging system or we will assist you in interfacing another manufacturers probe into one of our systems.
