Magnetic Susceptibility / Inductive Conductivity Tool

The Magnetic Susceptibility/Induction Conductivity probe is designed for measurement of magnetic susceptibility and electrical conductivity of rocks in boreholes. High sensitivity, stability and wide dynamic range make it possible to carry on precise measurement of magnetic susceptibility and conductivity in metaliferious and sedimentary geology i.e. - sand - clay layers and ore zones. Thanks to the induction method the probe can be used in water filled, dry and plastic cased boreholes. The response of the probe is practically instantaneous (<0.5s)

EXTENDED RANGE

Magnetics
10-4 - 2 SI unit
suitable for strongly magnetic rocks where the standard would go out of range.

Conductivity
300mS/m to 1000S/m is suited to the examination of highly conductive metallic minerals and ores. Suitable for mineral exploration, mine development and planning.
